Winter Adventure Camp at Common Ground Center- Starksboro

Would your child love to spend two days at Common Ground Center exploring the outdoors?  If so, register them now to join our staff for two fun filled days in the snow!  With 700 acres to explore we’ll snowshoe, track and learn about wildlife, sled, play games and build snow forts in the outdoors!

Between outdoor activities we’ll warm up inside our lodge with board games, crafts and hot chocolate. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided, participants must bring their own lunch, sled and winter clothing. 





  • Grades: 3rd-6th


  • Dates: Tuesday and Wednesday, February 23rd & 24th


  • Time: 8:30am-4:30pm


  • Location: Common Ground Center, Starksboro


  • Fee: $90 per child


  • Deadline to register- Tues. Feb. 16

Registration Information:
  • Registration is done online.
  • At Checkout you will have the option to pay online or offline.
  • Online Payment Option is with a credit card (A convenience fee of $2 or 3.5 % is added, whichever is higher).
  • Offline Payment Option is mailing or bringing in a check or cash with the receipt that is generated after you register.
  • Offline payment option is turned off one week prior to start date of program. You can register and use the online payment option or stop in at the Rec. Office to register and pay.
  • Please create a household account prior to coming in if you don't have one already. (Upper left hand corner).
  • Program rosters are checked one week prior to start date to see if minimum number is met.
  • Don't Wait! Register Early! (A program might be cancelled due to low enrollment).
