Girl Fishing

Teaching the fundamentals of “Having Fun Fishing.”  This 3 hour program includes information such as fish identification, parts of the rod and hook, lures & bait, and how to stay safe while fishing.  The instructor will teach the basic skills that are needed for children to have the knowledge needed to fish for themselves!  Everything they learn will be put to use as they get the opportunity to fish during this program.

This program is great for beginners or for those more experienced that want to perfect their skills.  All the gear is provided or your child is welcome to bring their own.

Registration Information:
  • Registration is done online.
  • At Checkout you will have the option to pay online or offline.
  • Online Payment Option is with a credit card (A convenience fee of $2 or 3.5 % is added, whichever is higher).
  • Offline Payment Option is mailing or bringing in a check or cash with the receipt that is generated after you register.
  • Offline payment option is turned off one week prior to start date of program. You can register and use the online payment option or stop in at the Rec. Office to register and pay.
  • Please create a household account prior to coming in if you don't have one already. (Upper left hand corner).
  • Program rosters are checked one week prior to start date to see if minimum number is met.
  • Don't Wait! Register Early! (A program might be cancelled due to low enrollment).
